Super Simple Smoothie
Smoothies can get super complicated with dozens of ingredients. But this is a simple one. I make this almost every morning. And it’s a delicious start for the day.
There are only a couple ingredients:
- 2 Bananas
- 1-2 Cups of Frozen Fruit
- 2 Tbsp Flax or Chia Seeds
- 1 Cup of Frozen, Shredded Kale
- 1 1⁄2 Cups of Oat Milk
And the instructions to prepare it is simple too. Throw it all in a blender and let it rip.
For frozen fruit I usually use strawberries. But I’ve also enjoyed it with mixed berries (raspberries & black berries), blueberries, peaches, and mango’s.
Since I make this so often, I don’t really measure things. I just know roughly what ratio to add things and what it looks like in my blender. But usually I use too much liquid.
I like it best when it’s super thick but still smooth. Then you can eat it with a spoon instead of drinking it. It kinda feels like having a water ice for breakfast!
